The Journey, the Laughs, and What’s Next
Three years ago, I took the leap and started Collection Camomille—a dream sparked by a trip to Canada and my other travels, where I discovered unique accessories that I couldn’t wait to share. My love for accessories has always been there (having super fine and, let’s be honest, boring hair meant I needed hair clips and claws to give it some life!).
It was only a matter of time before I turned that passion into something bigger. At first, I hesitated (because, let’s be real, starting a business is scary), but once I launched the website and began curating my collection, there was no turning back. Since then, I’ve loved searching for new treasures and hearing your feedback—it’s what keeps me going!
Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Paperwork, finances, and Swiss online sales challenges? Yep, I’ve tackled them all. Markets have been my lifeline, though they come with their own chaos—packing, unpacking, setting up (never fast enough!), and sometimes battling the weather. Like that one time when unexpected rain nearly wiped out my stall… thankfully, a kind neighboring vendor saved the day with a giant plastic paint cover that we draped over everything! Through all the trial and error—product flops, banners I never used, and endless layout changes—I’ve finally landed on a brand identity that feels truly me.
So, what’s next? More growth, more sustainability, and maybe even a physical shop concept. I’d love to host workshops, spotlight my amazing artisans, and build a strong network of small business owners. But for now, I’m celebrating three years of learning, evolving, and sharing this adventure with all of you. Thank you for being part of it—you make Collection Camomille what it is! 💛
